1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services and equipment provided by RX50 Pty Ltd (ABN: 35 669 090 368) trading as "The Connected Site Co." By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out in this document.

2. Installation and Additional Costs

Once the system is installed, any requests for changes, including but not limited to relocation or reprogramming of the system, will incur additional costs. These costs will be communicated and agreed upon prior to any further work being undertaken.

3. Payment Terms

  • All purchases must be paid in full, in advance, prior to the installation of equipment.
  • All equipment remains the property of The Connected Site Co. until paid in full.

4. Ownership and Responsibility

The Connected Site Co. will not be responsible for any theft, damage, or fire in the event of a genuine incident at the premise. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all necessary precautions are taken to safeguard the installed equipment.

5. Monitoring and Alarm Activations

  • For actionable alarm activations, the nominated emergency contacts provided by the customer will be contacted.
  • Standard alarm activation response: Monitoring centres action alarms in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. Emergency contacts will be advised, and operators will seek authorization before dispatching an Emergency Response Patrol.
  • In instances where the Monitoring Centre deems it necessary to dispatch a Patrol Response, Police, Ambulance, or Fire services, the customer is solely responsible for any costs incurred.
  • Monitoring is charged at agreed intervals and continues ongoing until terminated by the customer.

6. Maintenance Compliance (AS2201)

To ensure compliance with AS2201 and maintain system functionality, customers are responsible for engaging a suitably qualified security technician for routine maintenance. The Connected Site Co. recommends yearly maintenance for commercial properties.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing written notice. In cases of early termination by the customer, no refunds will be provided for any remaining period of service or equipment purchase.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia.
